Updated: Cineworld Celebration Event
7 Apr 2011

Thursday evening saw MFC Study Support host a special celebration event at Cineworld in Middlesbrough.

As well as our traditional end of term celebration where youngsters who took part in courses with us are awarded certificates and prizes for their achievements, the event was an opportunity of us to showcase and indeed premier three films that Middlesbrough youngsters have produced, supported by the Lottery through the UK Film Council’s First Light initiative.

Pictures from the event are now live!

Don’t forget to complete an online evaluation form for a chance to win a signed Boro shirt!

Photograph’s from the evening are now live! Scroll to the bottom of the page to see them all!, in the meantime please take the time to watch our three movies below.

Sam thoroughly enjoyed his time at MFC he met lots of friends and had a good time. He enjoyed the computer activities and the tour of the stadium. We both enjoyed the presentation evening and we were very moved by the “walk in our shoes” film.

A big thank you to the playing for success team for working so well, positivley and professionally with young carers and The Junction. The film is great and I’m sure it will be a great tool in enabling people to understand about the impact of young carers. The icing on the cake was the night, the recognition for the young people and the fact that Boro icon Tony “Mogga” Mowbray was there to join in the celebrations-allround well done and thanks!
