A Bangladeshi Folktale
A Bangladeshi Folktale is the third film supported by the Lottery through the UK Film Council’s First Light initiative.
The movie is an innovate effort that fuses live action with virtual sets. Students from Ayresome primary school worked closely with local artists and costume designers to create their own interpretation of the Bangladeshi landscape and dress.
The central character is an elderly lady who embarks on a dangerous journey. There are many obstacles standing in her way and she will have to use all of her wit and cunning if she is to make it to her destination.
