Children from Caldicotes school have recently finished their Read at The Riverside course with MFC Study Support. The final day would be one to remember as they perform in front of the Riverside Studios cameras and visit the home team dressing room.
Throughout the course they have read some exciting books and played fun games that will help them with their literacy. On the last week as is tradition the children were taken into the home team dressing room to read their last story Cinderboy, a football twist on the Cinderella fairytale.
Before all of that the children got to put their acting talents to the test in front of our Riverside Studios cameras. Taking inspiration from another book which they have read, Here Come the Aliens!, the children play the role of TV news reporters and eye-witnesses to an alien landing.
